Celebrating National Fitness Day – My Way

National Fitness Day is a wonderful reminder to pause and reflect on what “fitness” really means. For me, it’s not about over-killing yourself in the gym, chasing numbers, or obsessing over calories burned. True fitness is about finding joy in movement and weaving it naturally into your everyday life.
It can be as simple as stretching gently when you wake up, taking a walk on your lunch break, or getting off the bus two stops earlier to enjoy a few extra minutes of fresh air. It’s in the playful tug of a dog walk, the rhythm of walking through the shops, or even those quiet moments of moving your body with intention at home. These little choices add up—and they’re often more sustainable and joyful than pushing yourself into routines that don’t feel right for you.
My approach is about curiosity and softness: exploring all the different ways our bodies can move, without judgment or pressure. That’s why I invite you to join me, whether through a one-to-one consultation to find what works for you, or in my classes where movement feels uplifting, energising, and fun.
This National Fitness Day, let’s celebrate not just being active, but enjoying the freedom and creativity of movement—because fitness is not one size fits all, it’s about finding what makes you feel alive.
With love, Simona
